Nicoli (1871-?) was born Charles A. Nilcol in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. He was a performing magician, was the father of Nicola and Von Arx.

Nicoli began performing on the Lyceum circuit in 1892 and filled over 3,000 engagements.[1]
