Dr. O. H. Bowen was an amateur drawing-room magician who was well-known in London magical circles.

He was a skilled performer of close-up effects and mostly perform at charity shows in connection with hospitals.

Member of Magicians' Club, I.M.C. and Magic Circle (A.I.M.C)[1]

He was a member of the Council and Occult Committee for the Magic Circle.[2]

Bowen was a personal friend of some of the famous magicians of his day: Karl Germain, Louis Nikola, Professor Hoffmann, and he treated David Devant in the early stages of his illness.
