Professor Waters (c.1869-1943), the stage name of Louis Water, was a successful New York club entertainer and worked summer tours at New England's better hotels.

Biography

Water was born in Poland and never lost his heavy accent, which was of aid to him in his role as a comedy magician.

He began performing in vaudeville and museums.[1]

Water was a friend of Hilliar and Max Malini.[2] He was a member of the Parent Assembly of the Society of American Magicians in New York City.
