Rick Allen (b. 1939) is the stage name of semi-professional comedy magician Frederick Allen Klycinsk.


Inspired at age 12 as stage volunteer, he moved to southern California in teens and became an advertising executive.

He became a semi-professional comedy magician in 1976 mainly producing and directing fund-raising shows in northern California. Allen later became a full-time magician doing primarily family shows, travelling internationally once a year.[1] Allen has toured the Far East, India, and South America.[2]

Starting in 1998, Allan began performing Harry Potter themed shows.[3]
