Dr Robert J "Bob" Albo (1932-2011), MD, MIMC, was an amateur magician, magic collector, a surgeon and physician for several sports teams including the Golden State Warriors, the Raiders, and the A's.

Biography

Albo had one of the world's largest and finest collection of antique magic props and authored many books on collecting.

He was a partner in the Palace of Magic shop on Pier 39 in San Francisco and the Magic Island in California. He was also on the Collector's Workshop Board of Advisers.

One of his last magic related public appearance was at the November 2010 NEMCA convention.

Most of his magic collection is in the David Copperfield collection.
