Robin Robertson is a psychologist, magician, writer, and teacher.[1]

Biography

His father was an army officer, so as a young boy he traveled all over the United States and Europe seeing magician along the way.

Robertson has been a clinical psychologist, university professor, writer and lecturer who has published eighteen books and more than two hundred articles in psychology and his hobby field of magic. Before becoming a psychologist, he was a vice-president of software development for a large insurance company, and later a consultant to a multi-employer pension plan. He has separate undergraduate degrees in mathematics and English literature, as well as an M.A. in counseling psychology, and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology.

He is a life-time amateur magician, and a member of the Order of Merlin of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.

Robertson has published or co-published (with friends Peter Duffie and Aldo Colombini) six magic books. His magic has appeared in many magic magazines, including a one-man Parade in the Linking Ring] magazine in Volume 53, No. 6, June 1973.[2]
