Miller, an M.I.M.C. in the Magic Circle, joined the IBM in 1960 and the SAM in 1984, and has twice been president of IBM Ring 129 in Kansas City, MO. in 1967 and 1987. He served as treasurer of the IBM for seven years before becoming International President in 2005.[2]
