Ronald B. "Ron" Edwards (1910-1976), employed at Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester New York, was an amateur magician who served as president of I.B.M. Ring 4 of Rochester.

Biography

First became interested in magic after witnessing a performance of Thurston at a young age, but did not start studying magic until 30 years of age. He soon joined I.B.M. ring 4 in 1942 (held I.B.M. No. 7026 and become a member of the Order of Merlin) and was writing ring reports in the Linking Ring.[1]

Edwards became an insurance salesman prior to his retirement in the 1970s.

His specialties were close-up magic, mental stunners, mathematical magic, paradoxes and oddities. [2][3]

Some effects published in Phoenix, New Phoenix, Pallbearers Review, Ibidem and The Cardiste.
