Ross Bertram (1912 - 1992) was a pioneer in the field of trade show magic.

Biography

Bertram performed for 19 continuous seasons at Toronto's famous Royal York Hotel until 1953, was a regular TV guest in both variety and chat shows, illustrated crooked gambling techniques and was featured in the Stars of Magic series.

Ross was a confidant of Dai Vernon, Dr. Jacob Daley, and Francis Carlyle.

Fellow Canadian David Ben's formative years were spent under the tutelage of Mr. Bertram.
