Scottish Magic Circle was formed in November of 1957 as a breakaway from the Dundee Magic Circle.

The first meetings were held in the Tartan Room in Greens Playhouse with the original members including John Geddes, Bill Dunlop, Maurice Lawson, Syd Alexander, Colin Cawood, Fred Selbie, Helen Milne, Ian David, Sam Cameron and Fred Fox.

The Circle has a rule in their constitution that states that a member can be a member of one magical club.

Honorary President was Al Koran and Vice President was Maurice Fogel.

A member of Scottish Association of Magical Societies, the members have had some success in its competitions.[1]
