His third book devoted to magic.

This was one of the earliest book on the theory of magic, which went further then just explaining how individual tricks worked. Decremps proposed and explain general principles .

Some of Decremps' "Immortal" Principles which are still accepted by most magicians today:

  1. Never announce beforehand the trick you are about to do.
  2. Have several ways of doing the same trick.
  3. Never do the same trick twice.
