Stanlyn (1893-?) was amateur magician with an all-round magic act, with no set patter. [1]
Supposedly when attacked by hostile natives in the jungles of Africa, he saved his life using magic.[2]
He was a contributor to magazines and was a member of the Magicians' Club, which he joined in 1920[3]
His "Lady from Nowhere" illusion was published in Goldston's Magical Quarterly, Vol 6, No 1, Dec 1939.
