Sydney S. Bergson (June 2, 1904 - Jan 24, 1980) created mental effects and held several offices in the IBM including President from 1967-1968.

Biography

Born in England, he came to the United States as a child, growing up in Brooklyn. N.Y. He held a degree in Law, but was a hotelier by profession.

Bergson was a regular contributor for The Linking Ring starting in October 1971 with a column called "Merely Mental," containing comments on matter concerned with mentalism.

He received the Fleming Award twice.[1]

The I.B.M Ring 45 in Miami, Florida is now known as the Syd Bergson Ring in his honor.
