T. R. Jones was a magician and ventriloquist in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area.

He became interested in magic at a young age and started presenting a magical act around 1911 with the Irish Comedian, Johnny Monfort as "Monfort and Jones".[1]

Around 1910 he was serving vice president of a new magical society in Philadelphia called "The Society of Amateur Conjurors."[2]
