The Fakir, published by Joseph Ivan (J. Rachun) out of Brooklyn, New York, was preceded by his first newletter for his magic business called "Bulletin". [1]

Most issues included the simple necessary apparatus to perform a trick.

The Fakir lasted until Vol. 3, No. 1.
