A card is selected, returned to the deck and shuffled. A rubber band is stretched around the deck, when suddenly and visibly the rubber band melts away to be found around the select card.
It was first published as Stretch within Close-Up Entertainer (1979) and also republished later as Stretch (Revised) (aka Rubber Band Scam) (aka Inner Circle) in Art of Astonishment Volume 2 (1996).
