The Invisible Man, a stage play with 53 illusions by Paul Kieve, opened at the Vaudeville Theatre in London on February 20, 1993.

It was certified by the 2005 Guinness Book of World Records as the stage play with the most magical effects.

In one scene the unbandaged 'invisible' head of the Invisible Man smokes a cigar. Hill made everyone working in the theatre, from the cleaning staff upwards, sign a document forbidding them to reveal how this was done to the press.
