Side Steal

Side Steal is a sleight that allows for "stealing" a card which was simply peeked by a spectator.

One of the first description was published in The Art of Magic (1909) attributed to Nate Leipzig and named The Side Slip (steal) (page 142, Dover Edition 1980.)
