The Teen-Age Magicians of America was formed in 1954 with the merging of three clubs, the original Teen-Age Magicians of America (form in the early 1950s ), the Lads of Legerdemain and The Magic Wand Correspondence Club.

Their official publications were first The Wand and then after the merger, The Teenage Trixter.

In early 1955, Arthur Andrews released a card trick "Spectacular", with all proceeds go to the club.

Robert Watson reported in the Tops (November 1955) that the organization had folded and and that the Magic Youth International had started up (later taken on by the IBM.)
