The Time Machine is a card routine by Paul Harris in which a magician introduces "time machine" (a small black paper square) and demonstrates it's powers using a deck of cards.
It was first published in Close Up Fantasies Book Two (1980). It was later reprinted in Tannen's Jan/Feb 1985 issue of Magic Manuscript (with comments from Jay Sankey) and included in Art of Astonishment Volume 2.
