Theodore S. Blakesley M.D. was an amateur magician in Kansas City who applied the natural sciences to produce magical effects in electricity, light and acoustics.

He created version of The Talking Teakettle, the Talking Skull, the Floating Ball, and the Transformation of a Wax Figure to a Living Woman.

With the assistance of his wife, they performed telepathic and spiritualistic phenomenon producing seeming supernatural effects.[1]

He was a friend of David Abbott.
