Tony Anverdi (20 Aug 1925 - Jan 1995) born Antonius "Anthony" Albertus de Vries in Hoorn, Holland.

Originally a baker by trade & part-time amateur magic clown until 1950 when he turned professional.

Specialized in liquid magic and electronic magic.

He sold his apparatus mail order from his home in Leiden. Today, Anverdi's magical creations are very collectible among magic enthusiasts. Wonderwarehouse.com purchased the rights to all effects created by Anverid and the line manufactured by Zanadu magic.

Anverdi performed at the 1961 FISM in Switzerland doing his clown act employing highly original magic and lectured at the 1964 FISM in Barcelona.
