Kipp Sherry (born 1957) is the eldest of six children born to Bill and Sharon Sherry of Idaho Falls Idaho. His siblings, in order of age, are Craig, Dana, Brenda, Trent and Glade.

Kipp has changed his career several times starting first as a cabinet builder in his fathers cabinet shop. In 1981 Kipp launched his career in Broadcasting which lasted a decade.

After receiving an A.A. degree from the College of Southern Idaho, Kipp decided to continue his education by moving to Boise, Idaho and earning a B.A. degree in Computer Information Systems from Boise State University in 1995.

This launched his third career as a computer programmer and he started working for the Idaho Department of Correction, which again has lasted more than a decade.

Throughout all these professional career changes, Kipp has consistently held onto his love for magic that started at the age of 8. At the age of 14, Kipp started performing for the public on evenings and weekends. Kipp finally made his move to full time magician in 2006 with the creation of Kipp Sherry Magic & Marketing LLC.

Kipp Sherry is an American magician who performs close-up and parlor effects. He creates many of his own effects and received international recognition when he introduced a reveal that had never been used before in the illusionary arts. The "Egress Reveal" was released in June of 2005. The main reason for Kipp releasing the Egress Reveal to the magic community was an attempt to spur on the imagination and creativity of others who create magic effects.

Kipp is dedicated to preserving magic as an art form and continually pushes the limits of the art by creating effects that have never been done before and introducing new people to the art.

Kipp Sherry was one of the founding members of the Treasure Valley Magic Club in 2005. Kipp became a charter member, and Vice President, in 2006 when the club was chartered into the International Brotherhood of Magicians as the [1]"Chazz Treasure Valley Ring 364."

Kipp Sherry became a contributing editor for [2]Street Magic Magazine in 2007 appearing in their fourth addition. The article was called "According to Don Savant", a continuing article sharing the wisdom passed on to Kipp by his mentor.

Kipp Sherry was appointed by the [3]Society of American Magicians (S.A.M.) as the Deputy for the state of Idaho in 2008. He was also appointed by the [4]International Brotherhood of Magicians (I.B.M.) as the Territorial Vice President for the state of Idaho in 2008.

For the most of 2009, Kipp Sherry appeared biweekly on [5]Fox affiliate station KTRV in Nampa, Idaho. His segment called "Behind The Magic" on Monday mornings showcased not only his own magic, but the magic of others and information on how magic was being used in venues other than entertainment. The segments stopped when KTRV changed formats for their early morning news.
