gallery/shop?

Great profile. Where is your gallery/shop in Virginia? You can email if you prefer. Thanks again for all the updates. Joe P.

User:Jpecore - Thanks for sending me the MAGICPEDIA Welcome. Appreciate it. As for my little collectibles business --- we did have shops, first one in Alexandria for several years in the Mount Vernon Antique Center on Richmond Hwy., then later moved to one on Liberia Ave. in Manassas in an Antiques Mall for a little over a year. Currently we're operating mostly on-line, and even that has been somewhat dormant for several months now, due to family obligations, often on short notice, that have called us out-of-town frequently to Upstate New York. If, and when, we do crank back up, or revive our business in a shop or booth somewhere, I'll let you know. Thanks again for your nice welcome to MAGICPEDIA. I've always enjoyed having it available, and am really enjoying getting more engaged now as a registered user/editor. Professor JR 15:36, 17 July 2015 (EST)

Thank you

Thanks for the idea of developing a "Thank You" badge!

Joe - Much better photo-image graphic. Thank You.
What's the 'jpg' file for your graphic? Or where can I find your Thank You badge if I want to use it, with your permission of course. (Isn't this fun. At least, I'm sure having fun with all this.) Professor JR 09:39, 19 July 2015 (EST)
Lots of fun! See Template:Thankyou for use.

Images

You can also keep a lookout on Special:NewFiles for new images to use on pages you create, as I like to find old image from magazines to include. (but I don't want to edit the pages as you are working one them. Joe P.

Resources

I have electronic access to the vast resources of Ask Alexander, so if there is ever any specific reference you need researched, just let me know. Joe P.

Thanks. Really appreciate it, and your last message, above. Professor JR 10:58, 19 July 2015 (EST)

Wikilinking

Feel free to liberally add Wikilinks for anything that should have a page in MagicPedia (even if they show up as red). That just lets everyone know that we need a new page for that topic, and they show up on Special:WantedPages. (although a lot of times there is a page, it's just alternate spelling and I take care of those with "redirects". Joe P.

Ampersand

Be careful when using & as it will mess up wikilinks e.g. [[Petri & Lewis]] vs. [[Petri & Lewis]]. As long as there is no chance of the ampersand eventually being part of a wikilink, I don't mind it (e.g. notable for Magic Apparatus & Inventions).

Wikipedia links

We have a standard template on Magicpedia for including a link to Wikipedia (with the same article name) called {{Wikipedia}}. Lots of pages already have it. The template also covers us with standard text to comply with wikipedia rules. Joe P. 05:59, 22 July 2015 (EST)
