William Self (1921-2010) was an American television and feature film producer who began his career as an actor.
Biography
At the age of thirteen he won an amateur magician competition which allowed him to perform a cameo on Howard Thurston's "The Wonder Show of the Universe" when it played in Dayton.
For many years, he was a member of The Magic Castle and attended the LA Conference on Magic History and various Magic Collectors Weekends. In the 1990s he developed a bond with Thurston's daughter, Jane. [1]
