Rick Johnsson (1937-1989) was an American amateur close-up magician that proposed the now famous Too-Perfect Theory which he first published in Hierophant No. 5, 1971, page 247 (Tannen Edition).
Biography
A Director of Hospitality Education at the Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College in Asheville, he authored the column "Come a Little Closer" in The Linking Ring for some 13 years (1976-1989). In February, 1985, he also began writing the "Hocus in Focus" review section.
