1002nd Aces is an Ace Assembly by Alex Elmsley first published in IBIDEM No. 12 (December, 1957). It was based on one of his earlier effects called 1001st Aces.

It accentuates a genuine free choice of one of the four cards put down, in order to convince the spectators that they must be all Aces. The select ace is shown and 3 indifferent cards are placed on top of it from the deck. Immediately, the other 3 aces are turned over to show they are now indifferent cards and all the aces have assembled onto the selected ace.
