Biography

In 2000, he made his English-language television debut (with David Acer and Richard Sanders) on a "street magic" special for Global TV called Urban Magic, and later appeared on an episode of a children's science series called Popular Mecanix for Kids. In 2003 he published a book of tricks he wrote for the général public (in French) called Psychomagie.

Kuffs has also released three lecture DVDs for magicians - Metal Bending: The Real Work (produced by the Camirand Academy of Magic), Mind Stunts and Mind Stunts II, and a smattering of his original material has appeared in Lee Earle - Syzygy, Banachek - Psychological Subtleties 2, John Lovick - Switch, Robert Cassidy (an almost impossible to find magazine) Quintessence, David Acer - Random Acts of Magic, Genii magazine, The Hermit Magazine, and MAGIC. In addition, a small booklet of his magic called Seven by Patrik Kuffs was published in 2004 and receive great review from magician like David Regal.

In 2008, with magician Stéphane Bourgoin, Kuffs co-founded Quebecmagik, a private magic club and unique store in Laval, Quebec (just north of Montreal). The club was created to share magic and related art and for a lack of time since close(2010).

In 2010, Kuffs became a columnist for Genii magazine, with the series projected to run intermittently through 2011. Its debut in the May, 2010 issue featured a unique version of The Berglas Effect called "Any Card at Any Numbered Envelope". The second installment featured an on-the-floor handling for the classic Brainwave plot wherein the spectator uses his or her feet to choose a card, and the third offering was an unusual spin-off of David Hoy's Tossed-Out-Deck plot called "The Tossed Out Rubik's Cube", the fourth one was a very simple chair routine named "Simplex Chair Mystery", the fifth routine "Draw a blank" is a routine that help Kuffs won a undergroud contest organised by Larry Becker and the last routine, named "Back Perception" is a routine using a very popular impression device and it show the creativity behind Patrik thinking.

Kuffs for 2011 make his come back on stage (the last few years he was more writing and creating stuff's for others) with a new show called "PRESTIDIGICOMIK". A 90 min stage show mixing magic, mentalism and a great doze of Kuffs unique humor. He call this new show his best... so far! Funny thing about Kuffs, he claim that he already know the date for his last performance on stage. It will be done on Halloween night of 2026... now try to figure out why yourself!
