David Mendoza is an illusion designer and builder. He founded a number of companies in the 1980s including Magicraft Design Inc., Illusion FX Entertainment LLC, and SHOWFX INC.[1]
Biography
Before establishing MagiCraft, Mendoza worked as a gopher for Doug Henning Magic, Inc. Originally hired to run errands and perform assorted chores, Mendoza would begin to assist in the construction of Henning's illusions.[2]
He has built illusions for Al Belmont, Franz Harary, David Copperfield, Siegfried & Roy and theme parks (Busch Gardens, Knott's Berry Farm, Sea World).
