Kitty Baldwin (c.1853-1934) performed a mentalist act with her husband, Samri Baldwin "The White Mahatma" (1848-1924) (1848-1924).

Biography

Kitty (Samri's second wife and assistant) performed together with Samri as a mentalist act becoming an international success

Kitty divorced Samri In 1906 and went on her own in hopes of sustaining a career as a solo mentalist act, performing under various aliases, including Kate Russell "The Clairvoyant Queen," "The Famous Rosicrucian Somnambulist" and "Mrs. Baldwin Slade".

This proved unsuccessful, so tried forming a mentalist act with Karl Germain for a few more years before quitting the magic profession.

Her daughter, Shadow entered the mystic world as a professional psychic, but was cut short due to Harry Houdini's debunking of fraudulent mediums.[1][2]
