Lynette Chappell was Siegfried and Roy's chief assistant and coordinator of events for Siegfried and Roy Enterprises, Inc.[1]
Biography
Chappell was classically trained in dance from the age of three. As a child of twelve, she was first exposed to the world of magic when John Calvert came to her hometown and she was chosen as a dancer for the run of the show.
Chappell went to the Royal Ballet in London to study for a year and at seventeen, she became the youngest Bluebell Girl in the "Lido de Paris" at the Stardust Hotel in Las Vegas.
While at the Stardust, she was credited as coordinator on both of Siegfried & Roy's NBC television specials, as well as performing on camera. Siegfried and Roy has called her their "third arm," because she assists them in every area of their on and offstage existence. From years of performing in their shows, she has been called "magic's most levitated assistant." [2][3]
