Ralph W. Read (b.1882-d.1952) performed as Pseudo Calosto as a mentalist and was the editor of the revised Tarbell Course in Magic for Vol. 3, 4, 5.
Biography
The section on the Classic Pass authored by Read in Tarbell has often been cited by Ken Krenzel as being one of the most well-written and instructive texts on this influential sleight.[1]
