Dr. Roger Woods AIMC* is the Chairman of the Modern Mystic League (Blackburn & District Society of Magicians), Lancashire, England and a Past President of the Northern Magic Circle.[1]. He has been President of the Modern Mystic League four times and is Archivist of the Society as well.

Biography

Dr. Woods has been interested in magic for over 50 years. A retired Solicitor and Crown Prosecutor he has written several books on the history of magic with particular emphasis on Houdini, Walford Bodie and Chris Van Bern. Dr. Woods is also an Associate of the Inner Magic Circle (with silver star), an Order of Merlin Shield member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, and a member of The Northern Magic Circle (Past President and Frank Richmond Order) and the Cavendish Knights of Close Up Magic. He is a Regional Representative and Examiner (Theory) for The Magic Circle.
