Ned Rutledge, who specialized in cards and mental magic, wrote two books on magic with J.G. Thompson, Jr.

He was bitten by the magic bug at the age of ten and was tutored by professional Ralph Erlewine. Gave his first show at age of twelve, a two hour affair ranging from manipulative routines to illusions.
