Ned Rutledge (b.1928-d.1999), who specialized in cards and mental magic, wrote two books on magic with J.G. Thompson, Jr.

Biography

Rutledge was bitten by the magic bug at the age of ten and was tutored by professional Ralph Erlewine. Gave his first show at age of twelve, a two hour affair ranging from manipulative routines to illusions. Then began performing for clubs, churches, civic and fraternal organizations with a thirty minute act. [1]
