The columns were put together in a hardcover book of the same name, with hundreds of photographs of Dai Vernon and friends, published by [[Genii Books]].
Vernon submitted his columns to Genii, often procrastinating until the last minute, when [[Bill Larsen]] would corner him and plead with him to write it. He would sometimes submit them hand written, recording some of them for Bill to transcribe and even on the back of Magic Castle place-mats.
 
A hardcover edition was advertise in the [[Genii 1998 September|September 1998 issue of Genii]] (page 40). However, it did not come to fruition until after [[Richard Kaufman]] took over Genii and published it, with hundreds of photographs of Vernon and friends, via [[Genii Books]] in 2006.
