Herbert J. Collings (1883-1958) was a professional magician beginning in 1899.
Biography
He performed an evening dress act " Wit, Wizardry and a Whistle" and then a Chinese magic as Col Ling Soo.
Collings was a founder and a president of the Magic Circle from 1928 to 1931 and again from 1954 to 1958.[1][2]
He worked for ENSA during World War Two.
