Forks Hotel was a restaurant in Cheektowaga New York (near Buffalo) owned by Eddie Fechter, which he bought it in 1958, where he would perform.

Over the years the reputation of "Forks" grew and the magicians who have come out of Forks went on to make a mark in the magic community.

IBM Ring NO. 12, in Buffalo, New York and the SAM Karl Norman Assembly No. 143 would hold their meetings there as well as the annual Fechter's Finger Flicking Frolic each April.

Some of the regulars were: Ray Mertz, Paul Gertner, Lou Gallo, Mike Skinner, Karl Norman, Harry Carroll, Carl Wiesinger, Howie Port, Ed Eckl, Mike Lewinski, Jim Kaczmarz, Obie O'Brien and Bill Okal.
