Anastasios Kasfikis (1892-1934) was a Russian illusionist who traveled under a Greek passport.

Biography

He was known for having several midgets in his company as assistants and toured Europe.

Kasfikis died while traveling in Spain when his Buzz-Saw Illusion slid forward during a collision with another car and crushed his head.[1]

His widow, Valeria, continued his act as an all-girl illusion show. She later performed as "Cleopatra", had had considerable success touring Europe, South America, & the United States.

Some however speculate a more political intrigue in his death wondering if he was taken out by the Russian government.[2]
