Charles Peet (1889-?), while living in Canada, was a successful club entertainer, specializing in magic, mind reading, singing and playing instruments in the 1920s.
He billed himself at one time as "The Needle King" with advertising stating "performing the Needle Mystery using at one demonstration: 22 Packages of Needles or 26 Loose Needles giving all tests such as drinking, eating, smoking, singing, talking and also performing under X-Ray." At each demonstration his mouth would be closely examined both before and after. He eventually increased it up to at least 20 packages, 240 needles.
