Prynce Wheeler (1919-1980) specialized in escapes and for many years conducted a business supplying handcuffs, special keys, and other paraphernalia for use by escape artists.
He was an expert locksmith and gunsmith. He collected of escape devices and owned a number of European dungeon irons dating back to the 1500s.
At one time, he traveled with the Ed Nichols Dixie Rebels as a magician and escape artist.
At the time of his death, he was employed by the West Side Bar in Great Falls.
