George Blake (b.1893-d.1979) was a British, ventriloquist, magician and inventor.
Biography
He was known for Silk in Matchbox, Silver Sceptre, Coin Cups and Uncanny Hank (which was featured in Tarbell Course in Magic Volume 6).
Blake was founder of first British Ring of the IBM and editor of The Budget and his Entre Nous. In the early 1950's Blake edited the Magic Magazine For All Magicians for Max Andrews.
Blake had several effects published in The Linking Ring and was awarded the Linking Ring Statuette. He also wrote regular articles for The Magigram right up to his death and did a segment for Martin Breese's Magicassettes.
