George Weisensel (1898-1990), aka Weisini, was a semi-professional magician. He did escapes starting in 1926 and then magic in 1930.[1]

Weisensel was inspired to take up escapes and magic at the age of 15 after seeing Houdini. He also worked as an acrobatic, a boxer, a tap dancing instructor and a motorcycle stunt rider.[2]

Mr Weisensel moved to the Baltimore, Maryland area in 1924, where he later became a traveling dental salesman. After retiring as a salesman, he made theatrical appearances with a performing dog act.

He was a life member of the Columbia Conjurers (of Maryland), belonged to the Keller Thurston Assembly of the Society of American Magicians and a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.[3]
